GIVING: WAYS TO GIVE

“We make a living by what we get.
We make a life by what we give.”
— Winston Churchill

St. Bonaventure High School’s Advancement Department is committed to cultivating resources that will help meet the growing demands of upgrading classroom equipment, technology, and facility improvements.

As we advance the mission of our school, we continue to seek innovative ways to welcome the time, treasure and talent of parents, alumni, friends, and businesses who support our efforts in Catholic education.

There are many ways in which to fill the gaps between tuition and the actual cost of a Catholic education. While some programs supplement revenue other programs have *no direct cost to the donor. Instead, their contributions are made by way of labor, special skills, materials, supplies, and corporate contributions.

We invite our St. Bonaventure families to choose 3 Ways of Giving during the school year. With your help, we can continue to offer the best in Catholic education now and in the years to come.

Your contribution will help our efforts in providing the best in Catholic education now and for future generations. Thank you in advance for your generous support of St. Bonaventure High School.

Custom Giving

There are many ways in which to make tax-deductible donations through the Custom Giving program. While some donors honor a loved one, others build a long-term family legacy at SBHS.

Family Scholarships
Over the years, St. Bonaventure has met the request of donors by establishing family scholarship programs. Working with the school’s by-laws, the donor sets the criteria for the award and the recipients are then selected by a scholarship committee consisting of members of the administration, faculty, and donor’s family.

Planned Gifts
Planned giving is a way in which the donor can name St. Bonaventure in their estate planning. Some ways to give include:

  • Bequests or Gifts by Will
  • Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Lead Trust & Life Estate Reserved
  • Gifts of Life Insurance & Retirement Plans
