Course description:
Spanish 4 continues to concentrate on developing language skills. The student reviews grammar and verb tenses, learns new vocabulary and demonstrates competence in reading, speaking, listening and writing. The student writes reports, letters and compositions; reads passages from literary pieces and newspapaers; gives oral summaries on different topics; listens and establishes dialogue; demonstrates knowledge of the culture; is able to successfully take a college achievement test.

Notebook or section of binder for notes and warm up activities
Loos leaf paper and pens
POLICIES:

Homework – Must be completed for the due date. Late work accepted due to absence only.

Make up work – For extended absences due date will be determined by teacher and student.

Tutoring – Available before school, during lunch, and after school by appointment.

Class passes – Students will receive 5 passes per quarter allowing them to leave the classroom for the restroom or locker. Lost passes will not be replaced.

Academic honesty – Any student caught cheating on a quiz or test will receive a zero, a call home and notification to an administrator.
