World History
WORLD HISTORY two semesters
Beginning with the first humans and Pre-history, we embark on our journey of understanding the unfolding events of the world and how things progressed as they did. From Ancient Mesopotamia to Ancient Greece & Rome across to Asia, then to Europe as it evolves and revolutionizes, to the modern world and modern warfare and diplomacy, we will be learning cultural, religion, society, and methodology of ruling for each country or nation we cover. Students will be doing more than just reading and memorizing facts, they will be learning to absorb and analyze facts and provide feed back, interoperate primary sources, and relate themes to each other based on cause and effect and ideological similarities.
