Katherine Kistler Head Coach
Coach Katherine Kistler attended Our Lady of the Assumption elementary school, Ventura High School and California State University, Chico. While attending OLA, she swam competitively for the Buenaventura Swim Club. While attending Ventura High School, she competed for the Cougar's Varsity Swim team for four years as well as playing for the Girls Varsity Basketball team for three years. During her time at Chico State, she participated on the Wildcat's Women's Basketball team for three seasons. IN the following years, she continued her love for aquatics by teaching and coaching youth swimming, instructing youth life guard courses, working as a California State Lifeguard, and competing in mini-triathlons in the local Ventura area. She served as the Girls Varsity Basketball Coach for 2 seasons leading the Serapsh to the CIF-SS Semi-finals and is currently in her 7th year of teaching English at SBHS. She is married to John Kistler, an SBHS alum, and they have two children, Aiden and Evan who curently attend Our Lady of the Assumption. |
