PEACE OFFICER HONORED AT FOOTBALL GAME
Peace Officers from over a dozen Ventura County agencies were honored at the Varsity football game verses Buena. The officers participated in the pregame posting of the colors and then again at half-time where representatives of the different agencies were introduced over the public address system to thunderous applause. St. Bonaventure Sophomore Cheerleader Gabi Aguirre gave a heart felt emotional speech over the P.A. with her thoughts of praise and thanks for the law enforcement officers. The Senior government classes also participated by making and selling blue ribbons in honor of the officers. Proceeds of the sales were being donated to the charity "Cops for Kids". All peace officers of the county were admitted free to the game.
