Nate Nylander

Head Varsity Coach

Coach Nylander is in his first year at St. Bonaventure and is excited to be part of the Seraph Family. Coach Nylander has lived in Ventura County for 28 years. He attended Nordhoff High Schol where he graduated in 1996. After graduating from Nordhoff he attended UCSB where he majored in History and Athletic Coaching. Nate has been teaching in private education the past 8 years at Villanova Prep and Oaks ChristianSchool.Coach Nylander has been coaching at the varsity level for the past 13 years. He was the Head Coach at Villanova Prep from 2003-2006 where they reached the playoff all three years and was Head Assitant Coach at Oaks Christian School from 2006-2011 during which time they reached  State Tournament twice and won CIF Championship. Coach Nylander currently resides in Ventura with his wife Hilary, son Kael Marcus (5) who will be starting Kindergarten in the fall and daughter Reese Raegan (1)
